Welcome

Welcome to Spokane Area Retired Educators 2017-2018. The mission of SAREA is to strengthen bonds of friendship among retired educators, to encourage continued interest in education, to promote the general welfare of retired educators, to work toward improved retirement legislation and to take an active part in meeting the needs of the education community. This year we are focusing our attention on supporting all school employees, through mini-grants, providing scholarships for future teachers, collecting and distributing books and coats for foster children, as well as providing a conference for future and retired school employees.

If you are not a member of SAREA we invite you to join us for one of our general meetings which you will find listed under Calendar/Events sections of this website. Our meetings are held at the South Hill Library, Mukogawa Center on the Fort Wright Campus, and the Manito Golf & Country club.

We look forward to seeing you.
